We see them frequently despite crowds of people. It’s always so exciting to see a bear.

I feel very fortunate after reading your comments about the trail’s popularity. Inexplicably, I did not reach the waterfall this trail is known for due to distraction by the many smaller upper cascades. Boy did I miss out! Still, it was a very nice walk along an interesting trail. Keep up the good work on this site, it’s great!
