When we rode this last year. Hendricks to just before Motrose. I agree, there is nothing spectacular scenery wise, with the small section between Hendricks and Parson being the prettiest. I did the ride after injuring my achilles on camp 70 road wading in the Blackwater River. Luckily, like you say the grade is easy so it wasn't too bad but my leg was hurting for a day after the ride.
