Buffalo Chicken Wraps

Buffalo Chicken Wraps

Buffalo Chicken Wraps made a delicious backpacking lunch!  They packed well and were easy to pull together at camp.  Another bonus is that they didn’t require any cooking or water.

Ingredients (to serve 2)

  • 2 Burrito-Size Flour Tortillas
  • 1 Packet of Buffalo Dipping Sauce (Available at many fast food restaurants – we used McDonald’s)
  • 1 Individual Serving Size Container of Ranch Dressing (does not need refrigeration)
  • 1 Large Foil Pouch of Chicken Breast Chunks

Pack the tortillas between sheets of plastic wrap.  Roll them up, making sure the edges are tightly sealed.  If air gets in, the tortillas will get hard/dry.  I packed the wrapped tortillas, the sauce, the ranch dressing and chicken pouch into a gallon sized Ziploc which I later used for trash.  At camp, split the chicken evenly between the two unrolled tortillas.  Drizzle with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing.  Roll up burrito-style and eat!
